What I have been up to!!!!

   Its hard to believe May is here already. It seems like it was just the beginning of the New Year... I have been busy adding some new merchandise to the shop. Trying to change my focus a bit. Still  making the fun, whimsical character sets, but also adding in some classic props such as bonnets, pant sets, skirt sets, layering sets and also some sewn items....

     I am still trying though to come up with my own piece that is uniquely mine . IT is tough to stand out in a sea of many newborn prop vendors...

Gearing up for a new year....

2014 is here already and I am gearing up to re-open the shop for the Spring season... I love the Spring and all the newborns that come along with it... Well with another year comes another list of goals for it.
I hope to continue to grow the business and make it more profitable than 2013,
I want to continue to add about 3 new things a month.
I want to offer props that appeal to parents as well as photographers
I want to add many more bonnets and pant and hat options
I hope to add some more upcycled sets and ready to ship .

This past week I have been working on several new things to add to the shop. I am looking to add some new photographers to the Willowsgarden family.. I cant wait to get some photographs of my new products and get them added to the shop..

2013 brought with it 728 orders but probably closer to 900 items made... I still cant believe it.
I have met and worked with many amazing photographers and had some really awesome customers.

Happy New Year!

I can't believe it is already March. 2013 has already started off to be a very busy year. I had to close for a few weeks due to the large volume of orders I was getting. I am finally caught up and read to re-open again Saturday. I have a few new sets to add that I am super excited about. I also have a lot more that I plan to make. Currently I have been making tons of bunnies due to Easter being just around the corner. I am pretty sure that there will be a lot of mermaid sales soon for the summer.

 I am trying to balance my work schedule and my at home schedule, so I plan to only work a few days a week. Things were getting so out of control, that I found myself crocheting all the time. I have a 2 year old son and I am at work at home mom , so some days it can be hard to balance the two.  I plan to crochet about 5 days a week and take off 2 , so that I am not burning myself out. It may take me a little longer to complete orders, but I hope all of you will understand.

Welcome 2013

       Well we are already several weeks into 2013 and I have been re-open now for about 3 weeks. I have already made 50 sales and still have a few more days to go until the end of the month.  I am so grateful that I get to stay home with my son,  do what I love to do  and help my family out a little bit. I really do enjoy creating memories for all of you.  I am looking forward to a successful 2013 . My goals for the shop this year is to beat last years sales, add lots of new merchandise, gain more followers on my facebook page.  I have so many new ideas for the coming year to grow and expand. I am hoping to have some ready to ship items available too. I am thinking to expand to some upcycled sewn hats as well. For now I will share the items that are new so far for 2013.
